Prabal Gurung for Target

It’s no secret that I love accessories. That’s basically like a really bad under the understatement ..lol I lived in Seoul, South Korea for two years and I think that’s where my affection for accessories grew into obsession  There are so many accessory shops in almost every corner you turn in Seoul, from your local subway station to night market, you can find a great accessory just about anywhere. One of my favorite rings I picked up the last time I was there, was this hand painted ring I got in the Insa-dong area of Seoul (Insa-dong is the place to go for teas, tea sets and antiques just to name a few). The ring is big, has little rhinestones in it and it’s a really good conversation piece. So when I was looking for something to inspire my next blog post/photo shoot, it dawned on me how one ring inspired an entire outfit.

Hand painted flower ring was the inspiration for this outfit.

My hand painted flower ring inspired me to wear my Prabal Gurung for Target dress that I hadn’t worn yet, my favorite teal pumps from Forever 21, pack on the bangles and head to the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden just off the National Mall in DC. It really does make you appreciate that sometimes an outfit, a collection, a style can come for the smallest of inspirations. Hence why I love fashion so much 😉
