Tips for Black Friday shopping.

It’s that time of year again, Thanksgiving is tomorrow and you know what’s after Thanksgiving in the U.S? That’s right, Black Friday shopping! I personally try my best to stay away from the mayhem of stores and shop from the comfort of my bed with a latte and laptop. We all want to get in on the sales and sometimes just buy random items on a whim because “LOOK AT THAT PRICE!” and end up regretting it later. So before you spend your time in line or waiting for weeks for your shipping to arrive on something you end up not so in love with, I have some tips for Black Friday shopping.

Bold Tops and Pants.

While you walk by all the Black Friday window displays you will see a lot of Christmas party themed sparkle and colors that may lure you to buy them for all those holiday parties you got coming up. However, stop for a second and think “Can I wear this next year on a random day?” I bought this bold green Portofino shirt by Express for a Christmas party last year and the reason why I loved it so much wasn’t because it was a Christmas color but because I could incorporate it into my everyday wardrobe. These shirts fit well, the color lasts for a long time and they come in multiple colors and prints. I would poke my head into Express and head straight for the Portofino shirt section!

Black Friday sales means you have more room in your budget to add those items you’ve always wanted to buy but never got a chance to. My recommendation, BOLD PANTS! Whether you are checking out prints or solid color pants, you should definitely add a pair to your shopping cart.

This beautiful clutch was from a thrift store in Houston and it was a triple win for me. Sparkles for the holidays CHECK, my statement piece to any outfit CHECK, $4 dollars MEGA CHECK! On your Black Friday shopping map, I would definitely google some thrift stores in your area to check out.

Shoes…I mean!

Let’s admit it, besides electronics, good Black Friday sales on shoes is like the equivalent of you scoring a big TV for $400 lol. While you’re grabbing your flats, heels etc. Think bold shoes! These beautiful babies were from Charlotte Russe and are my favorite shoe to wear with an all-black outfit or the print to an entire color blocked look. Most importantly, they so pretty!!!

I would love nothing more than to share in your joy of your successful Black Friday shopping trip. So make sure to tag me in your pictures on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter @stylebypatty
